Kratos Studios is a Web3 gaming startup building distribution rails in emerging markets for global Web3 games.

INR 160 Cr seed (February 2023) at INR 1,200 Cr valuation, led by Accel with Prosus Ventures, Courtside Ventures, Nexus Venture Partners and Nazara.

Former Nazara Technologies CEO Manish Agarwal and early-stage investor Ishank Gupta launched Kratos Studios in early 2023 to build distribution rails for global Web3 games in emerging markets.

Kratos acquired blockchain gaming community IndiGG through a token swap, becoming owner of all its intellectual property. IndiGG had been incubated by Polygon cofounder Sandeep Nailwal and Yield Guild Games cofounder Gabby Dizon, who will keep working closely with the founders; INDI token holders get new tokens at the future Token Generation Event.

Distribution, not content, is the scarce asset in Web3 gaming — buying IndiGG's DAO and micro-communities delivers it on day one.

South Asia's 500M+ gamers are framed as supply: their time and skill become the digital goods global games need.

Nazara itself joining the round keeps the founder's former company commercially tied to the new venture.

A consumer-gaming veteran's second act bought its community outright — a token swap turned an existing DAO into distribution instead of building one from zero.

As of 2023-02-23 Kratos Studios owns IndiGG's IP, plans its token launch within 12 months (with INDI holders given new tokens at the Token Generation Event, until which INDI keeps trading), and is setting up sub-DAO partnerships with gaming micro-communities across South Asia.
