Ziptrrip bought HelloTravel to reach holidays, not just corporate trips

Ziptrrip, cofounded in 2019 by Shan Prabhakaran and Rishabh Agarwal, enables corporates to automate travel bookings, streamline approval workflows, and implement dynamic travel policies using intelligent algorithms.

HelloTravel — cofounded by Pankaj Agarwal and Mohit Shrivastava — connects travellers with specialized travel agents for customized holiday packages, claiming 7,000+ verified partners, over 2 lakh experience-led packages and a community of more than 1.5 million organic followers. In the deal, HelloTravel became a wholly owned subsidiary of Wayfarers Technologies Private Limited; its founders exited while the existing team continues operations.

The rationale is segment-led: leisure, MICE and experiential travel need agent supply, which the target already had.

Both sides' scale claims are on the record — 650 corporates versus 7,000 partners and 1.5M followers.
