做的是什么生意

Copla sells an ICT compliance platform that turns DORA, EU AI Act and Cyber Resilience Act requirements into guided, evidence-based workflows for regulated financial firms, keeping asset, vendor, risk and control registers current in real time.

启动资金€650K pre-seed (Feb 2024); €2.5M seed (Nov 2024); €6M Series A led by Iron Wolf Capital (Feb 2026)

起因

Copla was founded in 2023 in Vilnius by Aurimas Bakas (CEO), Andrius Minkevičius (CTO) and Nojus Bendoraitis. Minkevičius had previously co-founded core-banking platform Paysolut, acquired by SumUp in 2021, and the founders bet that tightening EU cyber rules would create demand for cheap, automated compliance.

经过

Copla raised a €650K pre-seed in February 2024 and a €2.5M seed in November 2024 backed by Superhero Capital, Specialist VC, FIRSTPICK and NGL Ventures. As DORA began applying in January 2025, the platform grew from audit copilots into real-time ICT compliance infrastructure covering DORA, the EU AI Act and the Cyber Resilience Act, with in-house and fractional CISO support for regulated clients.

结果

In February 2026 Copla closed a €6M Series A led by Baltic DeepTech & AI VC Iron Wolf Capital with Operator Stack and existing investors, having reached over 100 regulated European customers and seven-figure annual recurring revenue within just over a year of its seed round. It is scaling beyond the EU and building Copla Bridge for multi-entity compliance.

背景

Copla is a Vilnius-based regtech that automates ICT compliance for regulated financial firms. It was founded in 2023 by Aurimas Bakas, Andrius Minkevičius and Nojus Bendoraitis — Minkevičius previously co-founded core-banking platform Paysolut, acquired by SumUp in 2021 — after the team concluded that tightening EU cyber rules would overwhelm SMEs and fintechs that couldn't afford in-house security teams.

The company raised a €650K pre-seed in February 2024 and a €2.5M seed in November 2024, and timed its product expansion to the EU's Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), which began applying on January 17, 2025. Its platform translates DORA, EU AI Act and Cyber Resilience Act requirements into guided, evidence-based workflows — tracking assets, vendors, risks and controls continuously instead of leaving them in static spreadsheets.

By February 2026 Copla had grown to more than 100 regulated European customers and seven-figure annual recurring revenue within just over a year of its seed round, closing a €6M Series A led by Iron Wolf Capital to expand the product, grow the team and scale beyond the EU.

这件事要成立,得有什么

  • Regulatory deadlines create synchronized demand: every regulated firm in Europe faced DORA on the same date, making the pitch easy and the sales cycle short.
  • Compliance was stuck in spreadsheets and yearly documentation projects, while supervision was moving to continuous, evidence-based oversight — a gap a software platform could close.
  • The founders' fintech operating experience (Paysolut, acquired by SumUp) gave them credibility with regulated customers and investors.
  • The AI Act and Cyber Resilience Act obligations arriving after DORA promised follow-on demand for the same platform.

可借鉴之处

A hard regulatory deadline is a launch calendar: time a product to a law's application date and ride the forced-purchase wave — shared deadlines make fast ARR look inevitable.

后续进展

As of February 2026 Copla is scaling: the €6M Series A funds product expansion, team growth and internationalization beyond the EU. It is building Copla Bridge, a platform layer for partners and multi-entity organizations to manage compliance across subsidiaries from a unified view, and continues to serve 100+ regulated European customers including banks such as Fjord Bank, backed by in-house and fractional CISO services.
