背景

Decade is a São Paulo wealth-advisory startup co-founded by Vitor Olivier, Nubank's former CTO, and Felipe Meneses, whose AI credit startup Hyperplane was acquired by Nubank in 2024. It emerged from stealth in August 2026 with an $85 million seed round — the largest seed financing ever raised by a Latin American startup, according to LAVCA data going back to 2010 — backed by Greenoaks, Benchmark, and Diffusion.

The bet is that AI plus a human advisor can deliver the private-bank experience to people who accumulated wealth but were never served by it. Brazil's Open Finance lets Decade consolidate a client's bank and brokerage data; its platform then monitors portfolios, spending, fees, tax inefficiencies, concentration risk, and liquidity gaps, while a senior human advisor adds judgment and relationship.

Olivier and Meneses met working on AI initiatives inside Nubank, where Olivier rose from one of the earliest engineers to CTO as the bank passed 100 million customers. They raised the $85 million at founding in September 2025, spent about a year building in stealth, and opened to the public in August 2026 via waitlist.
