Dograh bets open source beats Vapi: PH #1 day Aug 12, 2026, 589 monthly votes

Dograh is an open-source, self-hostable voice AI platform — the self-hosted alternative to Vapi and Retell — with a visual workflow builder, telephony integrations (Twilio, Vonage, Telnyx and more), human handoff, BYO LLM/STT/TTS, and an MCP server for AI coding agents.

Voice AI is table stakes, and closed per-minute platforms rent you your own agents — an open-source, self-hostable platform with BYO keys and MCP wins on ownership.

Dograh is built by Zansat Technologies, which the README describes as founded by YC alumni and exit founders "committed to keeping voice AI open".
