FastMoss sells TikTok Shop sellers a subscription data feed on products, creators and livestreams; by Aug 2026 it hit #6 trending at 7,900% growth.

FastMoss

The betThat TikTok Shop sellers would pay a subscription to see what sells - products, creators, livestreams and GMV - as the marketplace spread across 15+ country markets.Scaling

What the business is

A subscription data platform for the TikTok Shop ecosystem: sellers research winning products, creators, livestreams and GMV across 15+ country markets instead of guessing.

How it started

Serial mobile-internet founder Shi Wenlu (史文禄) launched FastMoss in September 2022. His earlier company, Aladdin, had become the largest data platform in WeChat's video ecosystem, and he saw TikTok Shop repeating that story globally: as commerce spread across the US, UK and Southeast Asia, merchants had almost no visibility into which products, creators and livestreams were winning.

What happened

By a June 2024 founder interview, FastMoss said it served 700K+ brands, merchants, creators and agencies worldwide and indexed 220M+ creator records and 120M+ product/store records with 700+ days of history across 15+ markets. A ClearSight tool-stack report (April 2026) counted 3.2 million users globally and mapped paid plans from $59/month to a $399/month agency tier, with FastMoss handling trend discovery, product and creator research, and LIVE analytics.

How it ended up

The bet is validated but unfinished: as of August 2026 FastMoss sits at #6 on Exploding Topics' Top Trending Topics with roughly 7,900% search growth and reports 3.2M users; no shutdown or acquisition is reported in the sources above.

Background

FastMoss is a subscription data platform for the TikTok Shop ecosystem, launched in September 2022 by Shi Wenlu (史文禄), a serial mobile-internet founder whose earlier company Aladdin had become the largest data platform in WeChat's video ecosystem. Merchants use it to research winning products, vet creators, and study livestream and GMV performance across more than 15 TikTok markets, from the US and UK to Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Philippines.

The bet was that a marketplace growing faster than sellers could learn it would pay for visibility. By June 2024 the company said it served 700K+ brands, merchants, creators and agencies worldwide and indexed 220M+ creator records and 120M+ product/store records; by April 2026 ClearSight counted 3.2 million global users with paid plans from $59/month to a $399/month agency tier.

Search interest turned the private SaaS win into a visible one: Exploding Topics' Top Trending Topics, last updated August 24, 2026, ranks FastMoss #6 with roughly 7,900% search growth. FastMoss is still scaling, with no shutdown or exit reported in the sources above.

What has to be true

  • Shi Wenlu had already built Aladdin, the largest data platform in WeChat's video ecosystem - the same 'sellers fly blind' problem, solved once before.
  • TikTok Shop spread across 15+ countries faster than merchants could learn what sold, creating demand for a neutral data layer (June 2024 founder interview).
  • The data assets are specific and defensible: 220M+ creator records, 120M+ product/store records, and 700+ days of history.
  • Willingness to pay is demonstrated: 3.2M users globally with paid tiers from $59 to $399/month, per ClearSight (April 2026).
  • Public search interest confirms the moat: #6 on Exploding Topics' Aug 2026 trending list at about 7,900% growth.

What can be applied

A marketplace that outgrows its sellers' knowledge creates a toll booth: whoever indexes products, creators and sales first becomes the data layer every merchant pays for.

Aftermath

As of August 24, 2026, FastMoss is still scaling. ClearSight's April 2026 tool-stack analysis counts 3.2 million users worldwide and positions FastMoss as the trend-discovery and creator-research layer for TikTok Shop sellers, with plans from $59/month to $399/month for agencies. Exploding Topics' Top Trending Topics (last updated August 24, 2026) ranks Fastmoss #6 at roughly 7,900% search growth; the founder's June 2024 interview had already reported 700K+ brands, merchants, creators and agencies served. None of the sources above report a shutdown or acquisition.
