A 'Healthcare Intelligence Cloud' that ingests a provider organization's scattered clinical, claims and CRM data, unifies it into one patient record, and sells analytics plus AI copilots and agents on top.

Whoever unifies a hospital system's fragmented data becomes the platform on which US healthcare's AI runs — and customers will fund that layer themselves.

$675M raised in total as of January 2025 (Inc42), including a $150M Series E at a $3.2B valuation led by Mubadala Capital (2021) and the $275M Series F from B Capital Group, Kaiser Permanente, M12, Generation Investment Management, Banner Health and Danaher Ventures; the last round's valuation was not disclosed.

Founded in 2014 by Abhinav Shashank, Kanav Hasija and Sandeep Gupta, Innovaccer started as a data-unification service for healthcare organizations — TechCrunch profiled it in 2020 as the service that wants to unify all healthcare data. A $25M Series B in 2018 and steady enterprise wins built toward a $150M Series E in December 2021 that doubled its valuation to $3.2B in under a year.

The 2021 peak did not hold: by May 2024 it was reportedly negotiating a $250M raise with Kaiser Permanente at $2.5–3B, below the prior mark. Instead of defending the price, the company spent 2024 acquiring Cured (healthcare CRM) and Pharmacy Quality Solutions, then closed a $275M Series F in January 2025 — a mix of primary and secondary — to build copilots and agents for utilization management, prior authorization, clinical decision support, documentation, care management and contact centers.

Still private and scaling, with its category leadership now externally ratified: in July 2026, Gartner named Innovaccer a Leader in the first-ever Magic Quadrant for healthcare provider industry cloud platforms, positioning it highest in Ability to Execute and furthest in Completeness of Vision among all vendors evaluated.

US healthcare data is fragmented across EHRs and claims systems; a working unification layer is expensive to replicate and earns the right to sell AI on top.

Customer-investors de-risk the bet: Kaiser Permanente and Banner Health both funded the Series F and run the platform in production.

Accepting a reported markdown instead of defending the $3.2B peak bought AI optionality during the funding winter.

The inaugural Gartner MQ placement (highest Ability to Execute) converts a decade of plumbing into category leadership as cloud platforms reach healthcare.

Agents and copilots expand revenue per existing customer rather than chasing net-new logos — the compounding path a data platform affords.

In enterprise AI, whoever owns the data wins the agents: Innovaccer's copilots matter only because the records beneath them are unified — data plumbing beats model news.

As of July 29, 2026, Innovaccer remains private and is positioning itself as healthcare's AI platform layer: a Leader in Gartner's first Magic Quadrant for healthcare provider industry cloud platforms, with agents shipping across utilization management, prior authorization and care management. It has raised $675M to date; its last reported valuation remains the $3.2B of December 2021, since the $275M Series F price was left undisclosed, and no IPO has been filed in available reporting.
