Relevvo built an AI platform that scores B2B accounts for buying intent and drafts personalized outreach; Intuit sells finance and tax software.

$1.5M seed round led by Founders' Co-op (2021)

Aashish Dhamdhere, with marketing leadership roles at Skilljar, Amperity and LiquidPlanner plus stints at Apptio and Microsoft, and Tushar Shanbhag, a director of product at LinkedIn who had been at Arimo, Cloudera and VMWare, met at Microsoft and founded Relevvo in Seattle in 2020 to reinvent the B2B sales playbook: find the top accounts and tailor outreach to each prospect's digital footprint.

Relevvo raised a $1.5 million seed led by Founders' Co-op in 2021, with Precursor Ventures and several longtime tech executives participating, and stayed at fewer than 10 employees while landing customers including Esper, FireMon and iSpot.

On June 30, 2025, GeekWire reported Intuit had acquired technology from Relevvo; terms were not disclosed. Dhamdhere announced the deal in a blog post — 'an opportunity to apply our breakthrough innovation at scale' — closing the startup's independent run with its tech moving into Intuit's mid-market push.

Intuit bought capability rather than scale: Relevvo had fewer than 10 employees and an undisclosed, presumably modest price.

The deal shows B2B sales AI consolidating into suite vendors that already own the customer relationship and the data to feed it.

A $1.5M-seed startup reaching Intuit within five years shows how narrow, well-built AI tools can exit without scaling headcount.

AI startups built on one sharp workflow can exit on technology alone; acquirers buy the models and data pipeline, not the team size.

As of June 30, 2025, Relevvo's technology was headed into Intuit's mid-market targeting; terms were undisclosed and the founders' roles at Intuit were not announced.
