PB Health is PB Fintech's healthcare venture building an integrated out-of-hospital care ecosystem; Fitterfly sells data-driven diabetes and metabolic-health coaching.

That a narrow, controlled care network with clinically validated chronic-care IP will cut avoidable hospitalisations and anchor PB Health's fully integrated ecosystem.

Fitterfly had raised up to $17M since inception from Fireside Ventures, Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund and 4point0 Health Ventures; PB Health raised $218M in May 2025.

Fitterfly, founded in 2016 by Arbinder Singal and Shailesh Gupta, offers personalised metabolic health and diabetes management via data-driven nutrition, fitness and behavioural coaching. It stayed loss-making: FY24 brought a loss of INR 46 Cr on revenue of INR 12 Cr, losses up 19% year over year even as revenue jumped 1.4x. PB Health raised $218M in May 2025 to power its healthcare ambitions.

On PB Fintech's Q2 FY26 earnings call, management set a long-term strategy of a 'narrow healthcare network' integrating select hospitals and care facilities into a controlled, tech-enabled ecosystem. PB Health is setting up 1,200 beds across Delhi-NCR over the next couple of years, including a 270-bed hospital in Noida and two facilities in Gurugram, and PB Fintech invested INR 539 Cr ($60.8M) in the subsidiary in the September quarter. The Fitterfly deal's financial details were not disclosed.

PB Health completed the acquisition of Mumbai-based Fitterfly to strengthen its chronic disease management offerings, and said it is eyeing more acquisitions and partnerships to grow its out-of-hospital network.

It is a marketplace company's decisive move into owning care delivery, with a named target, a strategy label and committed capital.

The acquisition buys clinical validation and IP in chronic care, the largest disease burden the platform's insurance customers face.

The numbers are on the record: $218M raised, INR 539 Cr invested in a quarter, 1,200 beds planned, and Fitterfly's own FY24 financials.

A distribution business that owns the customer eventually buys its way into delivery: the insurance marketplace picked chronic care as the bridge, losses and all.

As of 2025-11-06 PB Health had absorbed Fitterfly into its chronic-care offering, was planning 1,200 beds across Delhi-NCR including a 270-bed Noida hospital and two Gurugram facilities, and said it would eye more acquisitions and partnerships to grow its out-of-hospital network. PB Fintech shares traded 3.5% lower at INR 1,758 on the BSE that afternoon.
