SuperLiving's Bharat wellness bet: ₹99 AI plans, 100K payers
SuperLiving bets a vernacular AI companion makes wellness affordable for Tier II/III India: 1.5M installs, 100K payers, $7M Lightspeed Series A.
SuperLiving
What the business is
Sells AI-native wellness subscriptions: an always-on AI companion coaches nutrition, movement, sleep, stress and daily habits in vernacular languages, backed by bite-size courses, priced ₹99–₹250 a month for India beyond the metros.
Starting capital:$2M from Kae Capital and All In Capital in January 2026, then a $7M Series A led by Lightspeed with both investors participating in June 2026.
How it started
Manavdeep Singh Grover and Gurjot Kaur, former executives at Pocket FM and Meesho, founded SuperLiving in Bengaluru in 2025. Their observation: personalized wellness had been reserved for people who could afford experts, coaches and consultants, while most of India received one-size-fits-all content. They bet that an AI companion which learns each user's goals, challenges and habits could deliver trustworthy, affordable, culturally grounded guidance at scale.
What happened
The app launched with an always-on AI companion that captures more than 115 lifestyle parameters from user behaviour, plus vernacular micro-courses across nutrition, movement, sleep, stress and habits. Kae Capital and All In Capital put in $2M in January 2026. Within a year of launch, SuperLiving reported over 1.5 million installs and more than 100,000 paying users, 73% of them in Tier II and III cities such as Meerut, Gangtok, Nashik and Varanasi. In June 2026, Lightspeed led a $7M Series A to deepen the AI stack, expand vernacular content and move into diagnostics and health commerce.
No ending yet — it is still running.
Background
SuperLiving, founded in Bengaluru in 2025 by Manavdeep Singh Grover and Gurjot Kaur — former executives at Pocket FM and Meesho — is betting that AI finally makes personalized wellness affordable for India beyond the metros. The founders' diagnosis: expert coaching had been reserved for people who could pay nutritionists, trainers and lifestyle consultants, while everyone else got generic content. An always-on AI companion that learns each user's habits, speaks vernacular languages and costs less than a streaming subscription could change that equation.
The product combines an AI companion that tracks more than 115 lifestyle parameters with bite-size courses across nutrition, movement, sleep, stress and daily habits, priced at ₹99–₹250 a month. Unlike most wellness platforms built for the top of the pyramid, SuperLiving aimed squarely at Tier II and III cities, where specialist advice is scarce in person and price sensitivity is highest. Within a year of launch it claimed over 1.5 million installs and more than 100,000 paying users, 73% of them from cities like Meerut, Gangtok, Nashik, Varanasi and Indore.
Kae Capital and All In Capital invested $2M in January 2026, and in June 2026 Lightspeed led a $7M Series A with both investors participating, to strengthen the AI stack, expand vernacular content and push into adjacent categories such as diagnostics and health commerce. The bet is that continuous, context-aware guidance — not episodic consultations — is how preventive health scales in price-sensitive India.
What has to be true
- Personalized wellness was historically priced for people who could afford coaches and nutritionists; AI removes that cost barrier.
- Tier II/III cities lack in-person specialist advice, making an always-on digital companion more valuable there than in metros.
- ₹99–₹250 monthly pricing with vernacular content matches what non-metro users already pay for subscriptions.
- Early numbers are concrete: 1.5M installs and 100K+ paying users within a year, 73% from Tier II/III cities.
- Lightspeed leading the Series A signals category belief in AI preventive health for Bharat.
What can be applied
Bharat-first means price, language and culture before features: a ₹99–₹250 vernacular AI companion reached 100K payers in its first year, proving demand outside the metros.
Aftermath
As of June 25, 2026, SuperLiving operates from Bengaluru with more than 1.5 million installs and over 100,000 paying users, 73% of them from Tier II/III cities, and is scaling user acquisition with the $7M Series A led by Lightspeed. The fresh capital funds a stronger AI stack, a larger vernacular content ecosystem, and expansion beyond coaching into diagnostics, health commerce and other personalized care. No revenue or profitability figures had been disclosed.
