Thunai's knowledge-brain bet: PH #1 June 2025, 250K calls scored monthly

Agentic AI platform converts company knowledge into support and sales agents; PH #1 with 623 votes, then 250K calls a month scored

The betThe ceiling on AI support is the knowledge layer, not the model: a brain fed company docs, calls, and tickets runs agents for calls, chats, emails, and workflows.Live

What the business is

An agentic AI platform for revenue teams that turns an organization's knowledge into autonomous agents for support, sales, and marketing — voice, chat, email, and app automation.

How it started

Serial enterprise-AI founder Jegan Selvaraj and CTO Aditya Santhanam built Thunai under Entrans Technologies after concluding that customer-support automation was limited despite a flood of AI products — the missing piece being company knowledge.

What happened

Thunai launched on Product Hunt June 19, 2025 and took #1 of the day with roughly 623 upvotes plus #4 of the week, then added AI-powered screen-share support, 24/7 voice agents, email and CRM workflow agents, and multilingual support in 50+ languages.

How it ended up

Still running as of September 2026; Thunai extended from support into sales and marketing automation and claims hundreds of thousands of calls scored monthly for enterprise customers.

Background

Thunai launched June 19, 2025 as an agentic AI platform for revenue teams and took #1 Product of the Day on Product Hunt with 623 upvotes, plus #4 of the week. The founders' argument: despite dozens of AI support products, automation remained limited because generic models did not know the customer's business.

The fix was Thunai's 'Brain' — a self-learning knowledge layer that ingests video tutorials, technical PDFs, past support tickets, and the whole knowledge base, then powers agents that handle calls, chats, emails, and workflows across Gmail, Salesforce, and other tools.

By September 2025 Thunai reported that diagnostics customers were automating 100% of call scoring, more than 250,000 calls every month, while the platform added screen-share guidance, 24/7 voice agents, and 50+ language support.

The company continued operating through 2026, expanding from support into sales and marketing automation. The launch was not the story; the volume of calls it scored was the evidence that the knowledge-brain approach worked.

What has to be true

  • PH #1 with 623 upvotes gave Thunai credibility at a moment when every AI support tool claimed the same capability.
  • Tying agents to the customer's own knowledge base created switching costs a generic chatbot cannot match.
  • Scoring 250,000+ calls monthly proved the product could handle production volume, not just demos.
  • The founder team's enterprise-AI background (Entrans, Infisign) made the revenue-team wedge credible.

What can be applied

In enterprise automation, the durable moat is being the layer that absorbs the customer's knowledge; a strong launch day only matters if the product keeps proving it can do the work at volume.

Aftermath

As of September 2026 Thunai is live and positioned as an AI-companion platform for support, sales, and marketing teams, with prebuilt agents for ticketing, lead gen, and content plus autonomous voice and screen-share support. Its growth remains tied to whether agentic support platforms displace point chatbots in enterprise stacks.
