Zero (0.email) is an open-source AI-native email client that prioritizes your inbox, summarizes threads, drafts replies and lets you chat with your email; it runs as a hosted beta or self-hosted.

In 2025, 21-year-old Nizar Abi Zaher and engineer Adam Wazzan concluded every existing client made the same mistake: bolting AI onto pre-AI interfaces. Zero treated AI as the architecture, not a feature: triage, summarization and drafting are the product, so nothing is a bolt-on that can be copied easily.
