Demoverse raised $600K so communities co-design products before they're made

Demoverse is a Bengaluru-based AI-powered product co-creation platform where consumers design products alongside brands rather than react to finished ones.

That communities co-creating products with AI design tools before anything is made can de-risk development and inventory decisions.

$600K pre-seed: Lumikai invested $500K through its Pixels programme, joined by UAE deep-tech investor-operator Marlan and a group of angels.

Founded in 2026 by Akshay Mehta, Demoverse built a platform where brands float a concept to their community and members co-create on top of it using AI-powered design tools, combining generated designs with human preferences and community participation so brands can identify designs with stronger consumer validation before manufacturing.

The company runs a B2B2C model with around seven closed trials with Indian brands, and plans three revenue streams: campaign fees for co-creation campaigns, commerce, and paid participation from its most active users in larger design challenges and contests. Alongside the enterprise offering it is building a consumer-facing application, and it will use the fresh capital to build its design community, strengthen the consumer app and expand into the US market. Lumikai's Salone Sehgal separately confirmed the gaming-and-interactive-media VC plans to launch its third fund next year.

Inventory uncertainty is the most expensive guess in physical products, and pre-manufacturing co-creation turns it into data.

AI design tools make thousands of community variations cheap to produce and filter, which older focus-group models couldn't scale.

Starting with fashion targets the category where wrong guesses are most visible — unsold stock — making the value case easiest to demo.

Move the feedback loop before manufacturing: a community that designs the product has already voted on demand by the time production starts.
