Edyoucated bought Peers Solutions to bundle 100,000 DACH users into its skills platform

That owning both the skill database and the learning platform — 13,000 competencies plus AI-recommended learning paths — wins the consolidation of European upskilling.

Berlin-based Peers Solutions built a cloud platform that identifies skill gaps, creates personalised learning paths and tracks employee progress in real time, with a skill database of over 13,000 competencies. Founder and CEO Elisa Hertzler handed it to edyoucated, co-founded by David Middelbeck and Marius Venemann in Münster.

Edyoucated committed to continue supporting Peers' customers and to merge the product roadmaps into one AI-supported skill and learning management offering.

The platforms pursue the same mission — skill-based personnel development — so the merge adds breadth rather than creating conflicts.

Peers' DACH client list, including manufacturing giants Volvo and TRUMPF, transfers wholesale to edyoucated.

The 13,000-competency database deepens the data layer both products' AI recommendations depend on.

In B2B SaaS, acquisitions often buy customers rather than tech: 100,000 trained users on a complementary platform are worth more combined than either product alone.

As of the February 2025 announcement, edyoucated said it would support Peers' customers and offer them a holistic solution for AI-supported skill and learning management on a merged roadmap.
