Orderlion bought French peer Supli to take its food-ordering app into France

Orderlion is a Vienna-based SaaS app connecting food-and-beverage wholesalers with restaurants for rapid re-stock ordering.

$4M pre-Series A (November 2022) led by an unnamed European VC and backed by Rockstart, seed + speed Ventures, Tecnet and Gateway Ventures.

Orderlion built a B2B food supply ordering app that lets F&B wholesalers market goods to local restaurants through an eCommerce portal, launching across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the UK.

A month after raising its $4M pre-Series A for international growth, it acquired French B2B food marketplace Supli, making France the fifth European market for the platform.

With the acquisition, Orderlion's B2B food supply ordering app becomes available in five European markets, absorbing its French peer.
