Supermemory is a developer platform that gives AI apps long-term memory: it ingests emails, chats, docs, PDFs and app data streams, builds a knowledge graph, and serves personalized context back through an API or SDK.

Dhravya Shah, a self-taught developer from Mumbai, sold his first company at 16, moved to Arizona State University, and challenged himself to build something new every week for 40 weeks. In 2024, one of those builds became Supermemory, initially a consumer 'second brain' app; after an internship and developer-relations role at Cloudflare, advisors including CTO Dane Knecht pushed him to turn it into a product.

As developers adopted the open-source repo, Shah pivoted from consumer app to infrastructure: a universal memory API with multimodal ingest, a knowledge graph, a Chrome extension, and a chatbot/notetaker. In October 2025 the startup raised a $2.6 million seed led by Susa Ventures, Browder Capital and SF1.vc, with angels including Google AI chief Jeff Dean, Cloudflare CTO Dane Knecht, DeepMind product manager Logan Kilpatrick and Sentry founder David Cramer; Y Combinator had also approached him earlier.
