What the business is
Munich HR-tech startup building an AI agent-based layer that automates HR processes across a company's existing systems
The bet
Enterprises will pay for AI agents that act across their existing HR systems under central guardrails rather than another standalone HR tool
Starting capital
€2.2M round led by Cusp Capital, with angels including Sabine Kohleisen, former HR Board Member at Mercedes-Benz Group
How it started
Carl Hoffmann and Rado Pavlov founded Ahron at the end of 2025. They target the fragmentation of enterprise HR systems.
What happened
The platform uses Celonis's Process Intelligence technology to create a digital twin of HR processes from existing data so it can find where AI applies and give agents context to carry out tasks such as collecting hiring-manager feedback, auditing payroll runs and managing onboarding. It also builds a central control layer where companies define the policies and guardrails agents must follow. Since the start of 2026 it says it has produced more than €1M in ARR.
What has to be true
Large organisations use more than a hundred HR tools that connect poorly
HR is sensitive, so AI agents need central guardrails and policies
A digital twin of processes shows where AI can be applied
The funding supports product work on the control layer and international expansion
What can be applied
Ahron is positioning governance (central guardrails) as the product, since HR is sensitive and agents need clear rules, but its ARR and customer claims are self-reported.
Aftermath
As of 2026-09-30 Ahron had a €2.2M round and claimed over €1M ARR and customers in the US and Europe since the start of the year. These figures are the company's own.
