CodeFlying (码上飞) is an AI development platform from Beijing startup KuaFuAI that turns a natural-language description into a complete, runnable business system — website, mini-program or app with login, payment, database and admin — plus AI agents that handle customer service, sales and content. Its Yiwu AI Shop play lets users pick real Yiwu merchants' catalogs and generate a storefront in 30 seconds with no inventory: the merchant ships orders and the store owner keeps the margin.

Ordinary merchants will pay for AI-generated businesses that run themselves, so a 30-second 'Yiwu AI shop' storefront can turn viral buzz into a paid B2A platform.

Angel round from 奇绩创坛 (MiraclePlus) in 2023; Pre-A of tens of millions of RMB led by 复星锐正 in September 2025; Pre-A+ of tens of millions of RMB from Huawei's 哈勃投资 and 正轩投资 four months later in February 2026; cumulative backing from 盛景、奇绩创坛、复星、华为哈勃、正轩 reported near ¥100 million RMB.

KuaFuAI was founded in 2023 in Beijing by ex-Tencent, ByteDance and Alibaba engineers around an agentic software-engineering thesis: orchestrate many models with DevOps tooling so a natural-language request becomes working software. CEO Wu Xin framed it as a paradigm shift — AI as the autonomous engineer, not a copilot — and the company took angel money from MiraclePlus before open-sourcing DevOpsGPT and, later, the AipexBase backend platform that powers generated apps.

After the September 2025 Pre-A led by Fosun RuiZheng, KuaFuAI closed a Pre-A+ from Huawei Hubble and Zhengxuan in February 2026, with MiraclePlus following again. In April 2026 the team went to Yiwu International Trade City to study how small merchants actually sell, then launched the Yiwu AI Shop: real merchants' catalogs, 30-second storefront generation, ¥200 of trial operating credit, and agent 'employees' handling inquiries, order summaries and promotion copy. The play spread through Xiaohongshu and WeChat groups in May 2026, and Z Potentials reported millions of users, ARR above ¥10 million and ~25% monthly growth by early June, alongside integration into Huawei's Xiaoyi agent ecosystem.

The Yiwu experiment is running and expanding: CodeFlying markets the generated storefront as a template for any long-tail business, Huawei device users can call the capability through the Xiaoyi agent, and the company frames its accumulated merchants and order flows as a 'business agent network' that large-model entry points will need to reach real commerce.

The target is a paying gap: long-tail merchants need working software and operations, not a chatbot — and they pay for revenue tools, which solves AI's monetization problem.

The Yiwu wedge removed every adoption blocker at once: real catalogs, zero inventory, zero coding and a ¥200 trial credit meant the first order a user received was the demo, not a promise.

The viral channel matched the user: Xiaohongshu and WeChat side-job communities are exactly where would-be one-person businesses look, so distribution cost was close to zero.

Numbers support the loop: millions of users, ARR above ¥10 million and ~25% monthly growth weeks after launch, with a second financing round within four months.

Do not sell code generation to people who do not code; sell a business that runs itself — a complete storefront with real orders makes the tool's value visible in 30 seconds.

As of 2026-06-18 CodeFlying is scaling: Z Potentials reported millions of users, ARR above ¥10 million and ~25% monthly growth as of early June, and the platform is embedded in Huawei's Xiaoyi agent ecosystem, letting users generate and run applications by voice. The February 2026 round from Huawei Hubble and Zhengxuan funds engineering, overseas expansion and the AipexBase backend. Open questions are whether AI-run storefronts sustain quality at scale — real merchants, fulfillment, disputes — and whether the model travels beyond WeChat-based Chinese commerce.
