What the business is

AI-powered project-management and profitability platform for agencies and professional-services firms, unifying project management, automated time tracking, resource planning and real-time profitability analytics in one system.

Starting capital$30M investment led by FTV Capital, with partners Alex Malvone and Tommy Tighe joining the board (announced 2026-07-27); earlier backers include Marcos Galperin (Mercado Libre) as first investor, plus GFC and 500 Global

How it started

Founded in 2017 in Argentina by Santiago Bibiloni and José Gettas — who had previously built and sold the marketing agency Balloon Group — together with CTO Gabriel Marin, COR set out to make project profitability visible for agencies, consultancies, law and accounting firms. Its first investor was Marcos Galperin, founder and CEO of Mercado Libre; Bibiloni moved to Silicon Valley at 27 and spent five years building COR's global expansion.

What happened

COR grew to serve thousands of teams across 38 countries, with customers including Globant, Publicis Groupe, GUT and Sancho BBDO, and Brazil its largest Latin American market. It closed 2025 with 51% year-over-year revenue growth, profitability and strong customer retention. In July 2026 it announced a $30M investment from FTV Capital, which manages more than $10.2 billion, with partners Alex Malvone and Tommy Tighe joining the board; the capital accelerates COR's agentic AI capabilities and expansion into consulting, legal and accounting verticals.

How it ended up

Expanding: the round funds AI tools to manage hybrid teams of employees and AI agents, entry into new professional-services verticals and continued international growth; profitability and retention give it a proven base to scale from.

Background

COR is an Argentine software company, founded in 2017 by Santiago Bibiloni, José Gettas and CTO Gabriel Marin, that builds an AI-powered project-management and profitability platform for agencies and professional-services firms. The platform unifies project management, automated time tracking, resource planning and real-time profitability analytics in one system, giving leaders a single source of truth for how client work is planned, executed and monetized.

The bet is that agencies, consultancies, law firms and accounting firms — whose main cost is team time — will consolidate their scattered tools onto one AI-native operating platform, and that the same system will eventually orchestrate hybrid teams of people and AI agents. The founders came from the industry itself: Bibiloni and Gettas had previously built and sold the marketing agency Balloon Group, and their first investor was Marcos Galperin, founder and CEO of Mercado Libre.

The model traveled beyond Argentina: thousands of teams across 38 countries use COR, including Globant, Publicis Groupe, GUT and Sancho BBDO, with Brazil its largest Latin American market. COR closed 2025 with 51% year-over-year revenue growth while remaining profitable, and in July 2026 announced a $30M investment from FTV Capital, whose partners Alex Malvone and Tommy Tighe joined the board. The capital funds agentic AI capabilities for managing hybrid human-and-agent teams and expansion into consulting, legal and accounting verticals.

What has to be true

  • Agencies' margins depend on billable utilization and project profitability, which manual processes and horizontal project tools fail to surface.
  • One platform tying automated time tracking, resource planning and budgets to real-time profitability created a single source of truth agencies depend on.
  • Landing Globant, Publicis Groupe, GUT and Sancho BBDO across 38 countries showed the model travels beyond Argentina.
  • 51% revenue growth while profitable gave FTV Capital a proven business to fund its AI-agent expansion with.

What can be applied

One system for a painful metric: tying time, resources and budgets to real-time profitability made COR the platform of record for agencies in 38 countries before its AI-agent bet shipped.

Aftermath

As of July 30, 2026, COR is scaling after a $30M investment from FTV Capital, which manages more than $10.2 billion; partners Alex Malvone and Tommy Tighe joined the board. The company closed 2025 with 51% year-over-year revenue growth, profitability and strong retention, and serves thousands of teams across 38 countries with clients including Globant, Publicis Groupe, GUT and Sancho BBDO. The capital funds agentic AI capabilities for managing hybrid human-and-agent teams, expansion into consulting, legal and accounting verticals, and continued growth in Brazil and beyond.
