Loopia bets AI agents turn e-commerce chats into sales: 25x growth, R$6.5M seed

Brazilian chat-commerce platform runs proprietary AI agents across WhatsApp and marketplaces; grew 25x in 2025, raised a R$6.5M seed in 2026.

Loopia

The betAI agents built natively for chat commerce can answer in seconds across WhatsApp and marketplaces, converting conversations into sales rather than just support savings.Scaling

What the business is

Loopia sells a chat-commerce platform whose proprietary AI agents run pre-sales, support, shipment tracking and cart recovery across WhatsApp, Mercado Livre, Shopee, Amazon, Magalu, TikTok Shop and Instagram.

Starting capitalUS$650K pre-seed (Mar 2025); R$6.5M seed led by Parceiro Ventures with up to R$2M more committed against milestones (Jun 2026)

How it started

Co-founder and CEO Tiago Vailati had sold Hiper, a retail-management software company, to Linx (Stone) for about US$9M in 2019, and co-founded Loopia in 2024 with CTO Anderson Fantini. Their observation: most Brazilian e-commerce customer journeys happen in chats, yet sellers answered slowly and lost the sale in the conversation.

What happened

Loopia closed a US$650K pre-seed in March 2025 led by Espírito Santo's sovereign fund FUNSES, with Ace Ventures, BVC and Questum. In 2025 it reported 25x growth and joined Meta's WhatsApp AI Startups Hub. In April 2026 it launched an official TikTok Shop integration, with about 20% of its client base activating it in the first week. In June 2026 Parceiro Ventures led a R$6.5M seed, with existing investors FUNSES, ACE Founders and BVC Latam following and up to R$2M more committed against growth milestones; the stated target is at least 5x growth over the next 18 months.

How it ended up

Scaling: named clients include Ou, Pichau, Kappesberg, Multimóveis and Granado; the platform runs on Luna AI across marketplaces, WhatsApp and TikTok Shop, with a 5x growth goal over the next 18 months.

Background

Loopia is a Brazilian chat-commerce startup founded in 2024 by Tiago Vailati and Anderson Fantini. Vailati had already sold his retail-software company Hiper to Linx (Stone) for about US$9M in 2019. The founding insight was that Brazilian e-commerce decisions increasingly happen inside chats — WhatsApp, Mercado Livre, Shopee, Instagram — where slow sellers lose the sale. Loopia's answer is Luna, a proprietary generative-AI platform that answers in under 30 seconds, 24/7, across pre-sales, support, tracking and cart recovery.

The bet is that sellers would trust AI agents with real customer conversations if the agents were built natively for commerce channels, not retrofitted onto helpdesk software. Loopia raised a US$650K pre-seed in March 2025 led by Espírito Santo's sovereign fund FUNSES, reported 25x growth during 2025, and joined Meta's WhatsApp AI Startups Hub. In April 2026 it launched an official TikTok Shop integration, with about 20% of its client base activating it within the first week.

In June 2026 Parceiro Ventures led a R$6.5M seed, with FUNSES, ACE Founders and BVC Latam following and up to R$2M more committed against milestones. Named clients include Ou, Pichau, Kappesberg, Multimóveis and Granado. The company targets at least 5x growth over the next 18 months and keeps expanding the channels its agents run, treating each marketplace as another place where chat can be converted into sales.

What has to be true

  • Loopia started where commerce already happens — marketplaces and WhatsApp — instead of asking sellers to change behavior.
  • Building Luna in-house let Loopia own response quality and channel integrations, rather than renting a generic chatbot model.
  • A measurable promise — answers in under 30 seconds, 24/7 — gave merchants a concrete reason to switch.
  • Sequence of validations (pre-seed, 25x growth, Meta hub, TikTok launch, seed) let each round be priced on demonstrated traction.

What can be applied

The channel where a sale actually happens is the wedge: by owning chat on marketplaces and WhatsApp — not building a generic support bot — Loopia made response speed itself the growth metric.

Aftermath

As of September 2, 2026, Loopia is scaling: it runs proprietary AI agents across WhatsApp, Mercado Livre, Shopee, Amazon, Magalu, TikTok Shop and Instagram for clients including Ou, Pichau, Kappesberg, Multimóveis and Granado. It closed a R$6.5M seed led by Parceiro Ventures in June 2026, with up to R$2M in additional committed capital tied to growth milestones, and targets at least 5x growth over the next 18 months while expanding its integrated channel ecosystem.
