As of September 2, 2026, OpenLaneLink is an open-source GitHub project with firmware, a per-lane FastAPI/React compute stack, a lane reservation scheduler and docs; pinsetter control, ESP-NOW and RS-485 transport, lane-local game state, camera pin detection and REST/WebSocket APIs are working, with gateway discovery, foul/speed integration and field testing pending. The founder's alley is being brought back lane by lane, with an alpha release after in-house battle-testing. There is no company, funding or revenue yet — one family's alley plus a widely watched open-source effort.
