YoLearn.ai is a Noida-based voice-first AI tutoring platform: a K-12 student scans a code associated with a textbook and gets an AI tutor built around that material, with spoken explanations in 22 Indian languages plus an interactive sketchpad for visual problem-solving. It also sells AI tools for teachers - lesson planning, worksheets, assessments, dashboards - and licenses publishers to turn their textbooks into branded AI tutors such as Headword.ai and kipslearning.ai.

Indian K-12 students will adopt AI tutoring that lives in the textbook they hold and speaks their language - voice-first, 22 languages, shipped through publishers.

US$500,000 pre-seed at a US$5 million valuation (June 2026); seed amount undisclosed

Kirti Prakash Mishra founded YoLearn.ai in Noida in January 2025 with a voice-first premise: Indian K-12 students should be able to talk to an AI tutor the way they talk to a teacher, rather than type into a standalone app. The platform was built for CBSE, ICSE and state-board curricula across 22 Indian languages, combining spoken explanations with an interactive sketchpad, and by mid-2026 it had raised a US$500,000 pre-seed at a US$5 million valuation from DataAlpha.ai and White Swan Global.

In September 2026 ABP Education, the education arm of ABP Group, led an undisclosed seed round and committed content, marketing and distribution support. The deal turned into a structural bet: ABP Group companies Headword Publishing and KIPS Learning will work with YoLearn.ai to convert their school textbooks into content-aligned AI tutors under the Headword.ai and kipslearning.ai brands, accessible through the books students already use and rolling out with the 2026-27 academic session. The publishers' combined network covers about 25,000 schools and a potential reach of nearly 100 million learners, with longer-term targets of 150 million students reached and 1.5 lakh teachers trained.

Indian K-12 study in more than 20 languages, so an AI tutor that only works in English skips most of the market.

Voice fits how students and parents actually use phones and how teachers explain, lowering the barrier for younger and less typing-comfortable learners.

Embedding tutoring in physical textbooks removes the discovery problem that kills standalone education apps.

Publishers hold the school contracts and classroom trust; turning their content into branded AI tutors gives YoLearn a route it could not buy with app marketing.

Do not make students find a new app: AI tutoring that lives inside the textbook they already use turns a publisher's distribution network into your growth engine.

As of 2026-09-04 YoLearn.ai is live with 200,000+ cumulative users and an ABP Education-led seed round, plus a partnership converting Headword Publishing and KIPS Learning textbooks into AI tutors for the 2026-27 session across about 25,000 schools. The companies call nearly 100 million learners the network's potential reach, not current usage, with targets of 150 million students and 1.5 lakh teachers trained. The open questions are whether teachers and parents hand classroom time to AI tutors and whether textbook-aligned tutoring becomes durable revenue beyond seed.
