Huskeys raises $27M led by Blackstone to manage the messy network edge

Huskeys builds what it calls Network Edge Security Management: a platform that connects and orchestrates CDNs, WAFs, cloud-native security tools, load balancers, VPCs and security groups across multi-cloud, multi-vendor estates.

Security teams will pay for one management layer that orchestrates CDNs, WAFs and cloud security tools instead of configuring each by hand.

$8M seed followed by a $27M Series A led by Blackstone Innovations Investments — $35M total.

CEO and co-founder Itai Gafni founded Huskeys because security teams were being asked 'to protect increasingly complex edge environments with legacy tools that were never designed to work together or to address the challenges of the new AI era'.

Its patented Unified Data Model sits across existing infrastructure rather than replacing it: continuous posture assessment, dynamic policy generation, orchestration and Virtual Patching — mitigating vulnerabilities at the edge while a permanent fix ships in code. It also targets agentic traffic, helping teams distinguish legitimate AI-driven interactions from attacks and cut false positives.

The wedge is operational, not detection: orchestration is how you manage the twin risks of blocking good traffic and admitting bad traffic.

Strategic investors from Zscaler and Okta plus edge-security luminaries as angels suggest incumbents see the layer as complementary.

Agentic AI traffic gives the category a second tailwind beyond plain tool sprawl — someone has to police non-human visitors at the edge.

When every vendor ships its own console, the management layer above the vendors becomes a product category of its own.
