Chad Rigetti, who founded quantum startup Rigetti Computing (YC S14) and took it public in 2022, started Sygaldry with Idalia Friedson and Michael Keiser. Where his first company chased general-purpose quantum computers, Sygaldry bet that the AI industry's cost and energy wall would make quantum hardware purpose-built for AI training the wedge. The startup went through Y Combinator's Spring 2025 (S25) batch and was one of 11 standouts TechCrunch picked at Demo Day in June 2025.
