Ex-Check Point duo launch Veriti from stealth with $18.5M to automate security posture

A cybersecurity platform that integrates with a company's existing security stack to evaluate and remediate security posture automatically.

Veriti was founded in 2021 by Adi Ikan and Oren Koren, both ex-Check Point executives, on the observation that enterprise security posture is 'usually sub-optimal' due to tool sprawl, complexity, massive data volumes and limited resources.

The platform taps AI to identify which events might impact business uptime, present the root cause, and surface which security policy improvements to take. Koren argued each added solution brings its own tools to learn, while alert volumes create murky visibility; Ikan added that proliferating solutions create room for misconfigurations that block legitimate applications and users.

Tool sprawl is the pain: each security solution adds its own learning curve and alerts, degrading visibility rather than improving it.

Founders' Check Point pedigree gives credibility in a market where buyers judge security vendors by operator experience.
