Amity Robotics was established in 2024 as a subsidiary of Amity Corporation, the Bangkok AI group chaired by Korawad Chearavanont, who also chairs the robotics company; sister company Amity closed a $100M Series D in March 2026. The team built ARC Base around a proprietary robotic operating system for voice and movement plus edge AI, and began placing kiosks with malls and hotel groups.

On 2026-06-30 Amity Robotics announced a $7M seed round combining equity (led by East Ventures, with 500 Global) and debt (led by AlteriQ Global). The company said ARC Base is live across more than 30 properties in seven markets — Singapore, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia — with clients such as Pavilion KL, Siam Piwat, The Mall Group, Pacific Place Jakarta and hotels operated by IHG, Accor and Shangri-La, and that its first European deployment was due in July 2026.

As of 2026-07-01 Amity Robotics is live but early: more than 30 commercial deployments across seven markets, a $7M seed banked, and ARC Move still to launch. The round is earmarked for deeper integrations, scaling operations and bringing that first mobile robot — which can approach, help and guide customers around stores and large properties — to market.
