Takafumi Endo founded ROUTE06 in Tokyo in January 2020 with Hitoshi Matsumoto and Tadashi Shigeoka, after careers that included founding e-commerce firm Smarby and serving as CPO/CMO of STRIPE DEPARTMENT. The same day it ran a 24-hour Product Hunt launch that finished at #2 Product of the Day with 505 upvotes and 139 comments.
