KREAM is a C2C resale platform where sellers send limited-edition sneakers, streetwear, luxury goods, electronics and collectibles; KREAM authenticates and inspects every item at in-house centers before shipping it to the buyer.
启动资金:Altos Ventures invested ₩390.6B across KREAM's Series A-C; the ₩220B Series C (March 2023) valued it at ₩970B (KED Global). After the ₩130B August 2026 injection, Naver's total investment in KREAM reaches ₩180B and its stake rises from 4.83% to 15.4% (TopDaily).
起因
KREAM spun off from Naver's content subsidiary Snow in 2020 as a C2C platform for limited-edition sneakers such as Nike and Adidas drops. Its differentiator was operational, not social: sellers ship items to KREAM, which authenticates and inspects them in-house before delivery, turning resale into a transaction buyers could trust.
经过
In March 2023 KREAM closed a ₩220B Series C at a ₩970B valuation; in December 2023 an Altos Ventures bridge of ₩49.9B pushed its valuation past ₩1T, making it Korea's newest unicorn, with proceeds supporting Japan resale subsidiary SODA. KREAM then diversified hard: sneakers fell from about half of 2024 transaction volume to about 37% in 2025, tech became its second category, and KREAM Gold launched in January 2026. Revenue hit records - 2025 standalone sales of ₩202.5B (+14%) and combined revenue of ₩397.5B - but the standalone operating loss was ₩8.1B, cumulative operating losses reached ₩203.4B since the spin-off, the accumulated deficit was ₩278.8B, and total equity was minus ₩176.5B, a complete capital impairment. In August 2026 Naver agreed to a ₩130B paid-in capital increase, lifting its stake from 4.83% to 15.4% while Snow's falls from 38.48% to 34.2%.
结果
Still operating and expanding as of September 2026: KREAM launched a fashion brand in June 2026, runs KREAM Gold, and is building Southeast Asian distribution - but it remains financially dependent on Naver, whose total investment now reaches ₩180B.
