Lindus Health
Lindus Health (now Lindus Therapeutics) is a tech-first contract research organization that runs end-to-end clinical trials — protocol design, patient recruitment, data capture, telehealth visits and trial staff — on its Citrus platform, and has expanded into in-licensed drug development.
启动资金:~$6M in early funding from Creandum, Peter Thiel, Firstminute and Seedcamp; $18M Series A (August 2023); $55M Series B led by Balderton Capital (January 2025); roughly $80M total including grants.
起因
Founded in London in 2021 by Meri Beckwith (ex-OMERS Ventures), Michael Young (former special adviser to the UK Prime Minister on life sciences) and Nik Haldimann, after Beckwith watched healthtech companies struggle with trial outcomes and Young concluded trials were the bottleneck between research and patients. They raised ~$6M from Creandum, Peter Thiel and others before an $18M Series A in August 2023.
经过
By August 2023 Lindus said it had delivered 80+ trials across depression, diabetes and insomnia, touting itself as the 'anti-CRO'. In January 2025 it raised a $55M Series B led by Balderton, with Creandum, Firstminute, Seedcamp and Visionaries Club, reporting 35,000+ patients enrolled and started moving its headquarters from the UK to the US. In March 2025 it launched ReMEdi, a fully virtual Phase 2 trial for ME/CFS with Tiefenbacher Group, using its Citrus eClinical platform, Oura rings for remote monitoring and telehealth visits.
结果
Still running and expanded: by 2026 the company had rebranded as Lindus Therapeutics, adding in-licensed drug asset development on top of its trial execution business; its site claims $80M raised, 45+ completed trials and 120 staff across the US and Europe.
