What the business is
An AI operating system for B2B sales: it decides which companies and decision-makers to contact, when, and with what message, through to a booked meeting.
The bet
That an AI system reading public signals and learning from every reply — including rejections — can sell qualified meetings rather than another sales tool.
Starting capital
EUR 1.2M pre-seed led by Techshop Capital, with Vento Ventures and business angels.
How it started
Founders Nicolò Fugallo, Raffaele Scarano and Luca Marco Agnoli built SimpL in Milan around a simple miss: sellers with the right product reaching the right company at the wrong moment.
What happened
SimpL connects to a client's email, CRM and calendar, learns its products, customers and sales strategy, then initiates contact and manages conversations to a meeting, choosing each step from the recipient's response instead of predefined sequences; even a change in the language of a job posting can outweigh a headline. It opened SimpL House, a hacker-house-style Milan space joining research, product and business development.
What has to be true
Success-based pricing aligns the vendor with the buyer's actual goal — meetings, not messages sent.
Public-signal sourcing plus a proprietary knowledge graph avoids the data-licensing costs that compress rival margins.
Learning from negative replies treats rejection as training data, which volume-blasting tools throw away.
It positions against the whole outreach stack — data, sequencing, automation — as one bought outcome.
What can be applied
Pricing is positioning: charging per qualified meeting instead of per seat forces your AI to be judged on outcomes, not activity volume.
Aftermath
As of 6 October 2026, SimpL planned to spend the round on product development, strengthening its technology and growing the team from its Milan base.
