Vezeeta raised a $12M Series C in September 2018 led by Saudi Technology Ventures and another $1M from the IFC, then closed a $40M Series D in February 2020 led by UAE-based Gulf Capital — one of the largest rounds for any tech startup in the Middle East and North Africa at the time — taking total funding to $63M (TechCrunch; Disrupt Africa).
