起因

Sai Supriya Sharath and co-founders built the platform in Palo Alto on the observation that appetite, hydration and oral comfort are among the first things disrupted by pain, dental disease, tummy issues and endocrine changes — while dogs are evolutionarily built to mask limping and lethargy. An 18-month beta across 80+ dogs generated about 5 million data points.

In beta, the platform flagged a chipped, infected tooth via eating-pattern changes and caught tick fever through sustained deviation from eating and temperature baselines, prompting a vet visit. Hoomanely has shipped roughly 50 EverBowl devices with a $29-per-month app subscription, and says formal veterinary studies measuring sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and false positives are being designed per alert category.

结果

Early commercial launch in the US; roadmap adds EverSense (a wearable for movement and rest) and EverHub (third-party device inputs), with the long-term plan of becoming an animal-health data company serving research, nutrition and insurance.
